After a quick grand final (1-0 default, 16-7 Vertigo, 16-10 Inferno), FURIA secured the ESL Pro League trophy, their third title of the "online era".
The grand final match was a straight-forward affair, with 100 Thieves coming in from the lower-bracket with a one map disadvantage and their pick of Vertigo backfiring heavily. The Brazilian side pulled out a yet-unseen boost on the professional scene which helped them to a 16-7 victory, with the Australians showing a bit more on Inferno, but not enough to stop FURIA's dynamic CT side.
With this victory, FURIA have ended Evil Geniuses' streak of three tournaments won in North America, with Andrei "arT" Piovezan and co. adding a third trophy to their cabinet this year, after previously winning DreamHack Masters Spring and DreamHack Open Summer.
Despite an uninspired grand final showing, the Australian side can be content with their lower-bracket run in the tournament, which saw them eliminate Evil Geniuses and Liquid, and place second after a series of underwhelming events.

A 4-1 T-side start for 100 Thieves bode well for the Australian team's chances on the opening map, Vertigo, but their fortunes changed soon. FURIA bounced back and equalized the score at 4-4 after utilizing a yet-unseen three-man boost on the ramp towards A, with Yuri "yuurih" Santos picking up a quad kill in the round.
The Brazilians were on the roll from that point, losing just one round before ending the half 10-5 up. Aaron "AZR" Ward's men managed to win the CT pistol, but were put on the back foot again swiftly as arT found a double entry on the force buy. FURIA kept putting on the pressure on the offense and secured the map soon, 16-7.
The fast-pace T-side of FURIA was back on the menu on Inferno, where 100 Thieves got a 2-0 start, but struggled to hold off the Brazilians in consecutive rounds until the final parts of the half. Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad's double set them up for a force-buy win to make it 5-5, with the scoreline 9-6 in their favor before the half-time switch.
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato and yuurih turned around a 3v5 on A in the pistol, putting down the foundations for FURIA's CT comeback. The Brazilian side was quick on their feet, rotating preemtively and making aggressive moves to bog down 100 Thieves' approaches. With just one CT side lost, FURIA finished the map convincingly, 16-10.
